Just like fashion there are trends in cocktails. However, this classic vintage drink is always right when having guests over. It’s delicious and most have heard about it, but rarely tried one.

1oz brandy or cognac
1 oz Cointreau
1 oz fresh lemon juice
Orange peel
1. Burn an orange peel over a cocktail glass to extract a strong citrus flavor. Save the peel to use for garnish.
2. Shake all the ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker, and strain the mixture into a cocktail glass.
3. Garnish with the orange peel.
